Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst-Payments. This position involves supporting a global cross-border payment application within the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG Technology), focusing on documenting requirements, engaging stakeholders, and leading end-to-end project discussions related to payments infrastructure.
Pay rate range (CAD): $65.22/hr – $78.26/hr
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current payment processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation
- Gather and elaborate on business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement payment solutions
- Lead project activities including planning, milestone tracking, and risk management
- Develop comprehensive business and functional analyses, including process flows and use cases
- Support testing phases by preparing test plans and facilitating UAT activities
- Assist in change management processes and communication strategies
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Assist in preparing status reports, presentation materials, and documentation for executive updates
Desired Skill-Set
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or related industries
- Extensive experience with payments, specifically cards, wires, Interac, and cross-border transactions
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI reporting tools (4+ years)
- Proven ability to define and reengineer processes and document detailed business requirements
- Knowledge of project management principles, including stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Jira (5+ years)
- Solid understanding of end-to-end payment flows and customer journeys
- AI knowledge is a plus
