Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Business Analyst- Trade Settlement who will be responsible for leading requirements work packages for large-sized, high-risk, strategic and regulatory projects. This candidate will contribute to the communication and Change Management activities across multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate must collaborate with technology partners and provide recommendations to support the development of system requirements and design, testing plans, and artifacts/deliverables to ensure business needs are met.


  • Identify, document and validate current state processes and work with the business and stakeholders to design the desired future state
  • Support business with defining the business need or problem and identifying potential solutions
  • Analyze impacts on customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology and budgets of selected solutions
  • Plan and facilitate sessions to draw out requirements – both explicit and implicit, functional and non-functional
  • Understand, challenge, categorize, prioritize and document business requirements
  • Take ownership and complete the BA work package. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, Business Requirements documentation, business process design, business context diagram, Use Cases, data requirements and mapping, root cause and business analysis, impact analysis, alternatives and recommendations, work-around identification and documentation, report/dashboard/analytics design, deployment support, production stabilization and Day 2 maintenance
  • Support development of business cases and RFI/RFPs with vendors if required
  • Conduct a review of the design and testing deliverables to ensure the solution meets the business requirements

Desired skill set:

  • 10 years of large project delivery experience in an Agile environment and agile at scale
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Capital Markets, including experience in Trade Operations
  • 10 years of expertise in Relationship Management
  • Acts as the senior or lead system analyst and coaches/ guides members within the area of Expertise.
  • Advanced to Expert understanding of business supported and the broader organization
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Project, JIRA, confluence
  • Subject matter expert and consults with clients and/or project teams
  • Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise.
  • Exhibit effective problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with both Business &Tech
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly etc.
  • Experience with Business Object Implementation
  • Able to gauge the appropriate level of priority and detail and/or effort on any given project.
  • Proactive and highly motivated individual who can work independently and in a team environment
  • Undergraduate degree

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience when the industry shifted from T+3 to T+2
