Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Business Analyst- Wealth management who will take a risk-based approach in applying innovative solutions to unique problems in different lines of business. This candidate should be able to Facilitate successful integration of newly designed solutions/processes into BAU teams as well as Liaise and drive change between multiple stakeholders such as Technology, Business Architecture, Operations, Wealth Business lines, etc. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a good sense of initiating conversation, strong communication skills with an ability to have hard conversations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects/initiatives that involve and/or impact Reconciliations and provide a comprehensive and robust assessment of impact, requirements, expected outcomes, testing, timely issue escalation, and progress updates
  • Effectively engage partners across Wealth and Wealth Operations to identify and assess the implications of Reconciliation-related issues and new/changed product proposals
  • Be an impactful leader on the Operations team overall, working effectively with other parts of the broader team on projects and acting on behalf of the Reconciliations teams
  • Driving continuous improvement of the current state reconciliations investigation model, Security Master, and pricing service level agreements (SLA)
  • Proactively evaluate risk exposures and opportunities for improvement through tracking and analysis of incidents and metrics, executing centralized protocols for issues management and escalation to reduce potential impact to clients
  • Design/develop dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; ensure alignment of metrics across the organization
  • Participate in projects supporting a broad range of data-driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out models.
  • Support the team by providing analytics and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolve complex business problems.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business growth & value.
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity

Desired Skillset:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel – spreadsheets/macros; ability to extract and manipulate performance data using various manners (E g: Alteryx, VBA)
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • 2 years of experience with Project implementations
  • Previous experience with presentations (AVP level) using MS PowerPoint
  • MS Office experience
  • Technically astute, very comfortable understanding and learning new systems,
    processes and technologies

  • Experience working in the financial industry
