Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Information Management Specialist and offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful data solutions and support regulatory compliance initiatives. You will be essential in providing advanced business intelligence reporting, technical documentation, and testing support to ensure operational excellence and regulatory adherence in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support key business functions such as product development, customer engagement, account management, and strategic decision-making.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical documentation, including testing procedures and data transformation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data repositories, warehouses, and marts.
- Support data modeling activities, structuring data for diverse analytical and operational needs.
- Analyze complex data requirements through market research and stakeholder engagement to develop effective information management solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug data pipelines, visualizations, and related platforms to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Stay current with evolving business and technology trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities and reporting efficiency.
- Lead testing efforts for new data solutions and support validation activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven expertise in Python, with at least five years of experience in developing, debugging, and troubleshooting data solutions.
- Extensive experience in Power BI, including report and dashboard creation, with a minimum of five years’ hands-on use.
- Strong background in technical documentation, especially related to data transformation, ETL processes, and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in data transformation, data flow, and data wrangling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with fluent knowledge of multiple programming languages.
- Ability to work independently as a senior contributor, mentoring team members and managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience with data modeling and designing scalable data repositories.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing workflow tools using Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate).
- Familiarity with data management platforms such as PowerApps or Databricks.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prior experience working in financial services or regulated environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
