Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business/Quality Analyst – Fraud Risk and Liquidity who will be responsible for leading requirements and business outcome testing (BOT) work packages for medium to large-sized, low to moderate risk and regulatory projects with multiple stakeholders and across multiple lines of business. The candidate must have advanced to expert knowledge of business analysis, quality assurance, project delivery practices, and standards across the project life-cycle. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent communication, relationship management, consensus building, and influencing skills. The candidate must be a critical and analytical thinker and can work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of a delivery approach and work plan
  • Estimate, forecast, and manage the requirements and BOT effort including cost, resource, and timeline
  • Engage, enable and lead stakeholders to final agreement and signoff of the deliverables
  • Assess change requests and their impacts, checking for alignment to initiative objectives at all stages
  • Communicate progress on requirements and BOT work packages
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to manager and partners where appropriate
  • Identify, document, and validate current state processes and capabilities
  • Support business with defining the business need or problem and identifying potential solutions
  • Analyze impacts to customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology, and budgets of selected solutions
  • Plan and facilitate sessions to draw out requirements
  • Understand, challenge, categorize, prioritize and document business requirements
  • Take ownership and complete work packages
  • Support development of business cases and RFI/RFPs with vendors if required
  • Conduct review of the design and testing deliverables to ensure the solution meets the business requirements
  • Coordinate multiple business and stakeholder groups and facilitate the creation and execution of testing scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
  • Create the detailed test execution plan per day per resource
  • Review solution test deliverables, progress, and defects
  • Facilitate and/or participate in testing of developed solutions, including communication of issues and participation in fixes
  • Upload and manage test cases using HP Application Lifecycle Management or JIRA
  • Record, manage and report all issues and defects throughout the defect lifecycle management to resolution using HP ALM or JIRA
  • Identify and update the regression package for future use
  • Conduct application gap analysis and readiness assessment

Desired Skill Set:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related discipline
  • Experience working as the business SME contributing to projects
  • Experience working as the lead Business Analyst
  • Experience working with HP ALM and Confluence/Jira
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • 5 years of Financial, regulatory, and management reporting experience
  • 7 years of project/program business analysis and quality assurance experience in the Financial industry following Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • 7 years of Finance experience

Nice to Have:

  • Accounting or Financial designation
  • Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance accreditation
  • Experience with fraud Risk management
  • Experience working with Intraday Liquidity
