Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business System Analyst -Treasury/FTP/Tableau. This position offers an exciting opportunity to act as a Business Subject Matter Expert on market risk and FTP measurements, engaging with treasury concepts and stakeholder management in a dynamic project environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60 – $54.74
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements related to treasury and FTP.
- Review regression test results, explaining and validating result variances.
- Provide expertise on banking product features, valuation systems, and project deliverables.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to align project vision and manage end-to-end deliverables.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners and senior management.
- Present updates and insights across all organizational levels, including senior leaders.
- Support process mapping, re-engineering, and change management initiatives.
- Analyze financial data to derive value-added insights and support decision-making.
- Facilitate communication across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Desired Skill-Set
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in finance, treasury, or ALM.
- Experience with Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and market risk concepts.
- Strong SQL, Excel, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly.
- Experience with process re-engineering and cross-functional project management.
- Knowledge of Agile project methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Tableau, Azure, Data Bricks, and Python.
- MBA, CFA, or FRM designations.
- Understanding of retail banking products and non-trading market risk.
This role is based in a hybrid work environment, with four days onsite at the Toronto office.
