Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst-Banking. This position involves supporting senior leadership by translating complex technological concepts into clear, strategic insights, and providing expert guidance to stakeholders across project teams. It offers the opportunity to work closely with executive management, contribute to impactful initiatives, and gain exposure to larger organizational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to document strategies and desired outcomes for broader alignment
- Communicate complex technological concepts in simple, understandable language for non-technical audiences
- Support leadership in developing and delivering communication initiatives, including executive updates and external stakeholder briefings
- Provide coaching to project leads, facilitating skills development in strategy articulation and stakeholder management
- Assist in breaking down technical information into understandable terms, ensuring clarity across teams
- Contribute to project planning and support, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards
- Manage stakeholder relationships, understanding their needs and providing actionable recommendations
- Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to document and track project activities
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum 10 years of Business Systems Analysis experience within a banking or financial services environment
- At least 5 years of consulting experience, preferably supporting senior leadership
- Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts
- Proven stakeholder management skills with 8+ years of experience working with senior executives
- Knowledge of the BSA role, with experience in strategy documentation and stakeholder coaching
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to understand and articulate technology in a business context
Nice to Have
- Experience working in scaled agile environments
- Knowledge of Copilot and related AI tools
- Industry-specific knowledge in financial services or banking sector
