Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst/Procurement/Coupa. This position involves supporting procurement technology platforms, particularly Coupa, to optimize workflows, drive supplier enablement, and enhance procurement automation. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform enhancements, manage operational support, and ensure seamless system functionality aligned with business objectives.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.35/hr – $65.22/hr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional SME for Coupa and associated Source-to-Pay processes.
- Maintain deep expertise across Coupa modules, workflows, configuration, and platform capabilities.
- Lead design, configuration, and optimization of end-to-end Source-to-Pay workflows within Coupa.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend solutions that leverage platform capabilities and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, controls, automation, and user experience.
- Support ongoing platform growth through new functionality adoption.
- Lead supplier enablement initiatives, including onboarding and expansion of Coupa capabilities.
- Drive procurement automation by utilizing platform features effectively.
- Partner with suppliers, Procurement, and Technology teams to facilitate onboarding and integration.
- Monitor platform adoption and identify areas for increased automation.
- Manage assigned procurement technology projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Support platform stabilization, upgrade, and sustainment activities post-deployment.
- Provide operational oversight of Coupa platform functionality and address complex workflow/system issues.
- Act as escalation point for technical issues and manage issue backlogs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to support platform enhancements and issue resolution.
- Assist in the development of process documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories.
- Support release management, system upgrades, and platform maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with technology teams on integrations, release activities, and issue support.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members and operational staff.
- Promote best practices related to Coupa and procurement automation.
- Deliver updates to leadership on project progress, operational health, and platform performance.
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of experience supporting procurement platforms, preferably Coupa, Ariba, or Ivalua.
- Hands-on expertise in administering, optimizing, and supporting procurement workflows.
- Deep functional knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes and procurement automation.
- Strong business analysis, requirements management, and testing experience.
- Proven ability to lead platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated project delivery skills with multiple concurrent initiatives.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, contracting, and related business processes.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including pivot tables and data cleansing.
- Experience supporting complex procurement system integrations.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deliverables.
