Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Corporate Recruiter will support one or more areas such as Strategy & Operations, Enterprise Risk & Portfolio Management,  People & Culture, LRC (Legal, Regulatory and Compliance) Audit, Finance, or Marketing. The ideal candidate is responsible for identifying business needs, building business-centric strategies and plans, and successfully executing. The individual requires in-depth knowledge of recruiting practices and a commitment to identifying and executing differentiating tactics and strategies. Due to the interdependent nature of recruiting activities across LOBs and enterprise priorities, the candidate must build strong relationships and work effectively with their peers (i.e., other Recruitment Partners, HRBPs, supporting Centres of Expertise, etc.) in order to build and deliver a seamless and aligned recruitment experience across the organization. The desired individual will work on roles up to the level of Managing Director, with many of the roles falling in the Manager, Senior Manager, and Director level.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strong relationships in order to promote and expand the bank's profile (internally and externally)
  • Utilize a trust-based recruiting model that is anticipatory and integrated
  • Understand business requirements and intake specifications to ensure that all initiatives and activities are aligned to the needs of the business and delivering expected outcomes
  • Ensure that our Employment Brand and Employee Value proposition is appropriately positioned within the context of all our activities
  • Ensure that diversity is embedded into all recruitment initiatives         
  • Recommend strategies and tactics that are integrated, flexible, targeted, and relationship-based
  • Develop active pipelines for key roles to meet ongoing business needs
  • Execute recruitment activities (develop and maintain various recruiting initiatives to identify candidates for open roles and build pipelines for potential hires)
  • Execute reporting and monitoring mechanisms that track the progress and overall effectiveness of our programs, initiatives, and activities
  • Maintain the reputation and attractiveness of our programs, initiatives, and activities including having  a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace, competitive positioning, and knowledge of business requirements
  • Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment best practices based on your segment(s), maintaining quality benchmarks, processes, and standards
  • Manage the candidate and hiring manager experience in the ATS (Workday) throughout the requisition stages
  • Support the team with special projects & process recommendations
  • Manage passive candidates within the CRM (Candidate Relationship Management Database) – PhenomPeople
  • Ensure requisitions meet all compliance standards to mitigate the bank's risk
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of First Principles in our code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Desired Skill Set:

  • 5+ years of experience with corporate areas recruitment within financial services or similar industry
  • Experience with recruitment firm/agency and corporate exposure
  • Understanding of the diverse landscape and recruitment practices
  • Superior communication skills, persuasive, strategic thinker with the ability to influence
  • Energetic, motivated, solutions-oriented to attract and retain high performing talent
  • Tech Savvy – ability to use multiple systems seamlessly to create an exceptional experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent
