Customer Support Specialist- Payments/Banking

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Customer Support Specialist- Payments/Banking who will be responsible for fulfilling routine and occasionally non-routine transactions, internal business partner and external customer inquiries/ requests, and/or audit/ reconciliation activities efficiently and effectively in accordance with Bank and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conversion of wire payment data from spreadsheets to new electronic system
- Validation of all data on spreadsheets, and transferring applicable information through bank programming programs
- Transferring information correctly through the use of Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot tables) -given raw data and responsible for creating a pivot table to convert the information into the new system
- Processing of wire payments as a secondary function
Desired Skill Set:
- Previous experience in data entry
- Hands-on experience with the MS Suite of products, specifically Excel VLOOKUP up and pivot tables
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and make critical decisions
- Attention to detail, working with sensitive information
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- University Degree or College Diploma
Nice To Have:
- Previous experience in wire payment environments
- Exposure to data migration
