Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Migration Engineer – Salesforce who will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements and generating technical specifications to design or redesign software components and applications. The ideal candidate is a good team player, adaptable, and possesses excellent communication skills.


  • Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
  • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
  • Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.
  • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
  • Accountable for complex customization and coding.
  • Lead the creation of an end-to-end detailed solution with accountability for the technical design.
  • Be the technical subject matter expert and assist the team to solve complex problems.
  • Review technical deliverables throughout the detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
  • Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance, Operational Readiness Reviews.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of efficiencies in the development and DevOps processes.
  • Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development/design components.
  • Identify and address application and data issues and cross-capability and cross-release issues.
  • Provide technical on-call support for incidents/outages to ensure that they are resolved efficiently with minimal impact to stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies, emerging trends/developments, and grow the expertise of the business, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools, and techniques.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Technology.
  • 7 years of experience working with Data Migration project delivery including ETL.
  • Experience working with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
  • Experience working with Java, Apex, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience working with Relational Databases and SQL.
  • Experience working with Git and DevOps processes.
  • Experience working with iterative and agile SDLC.
  • Experience working with data stage, Informatica, or MuleSoft as migration tools.
  • Experience designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end to end.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in an Agile Delivery environment.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
  • Experience working with Test Driven Development.
  • Readiness and motivation to address and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to Guide/advise/support clients, partners, and large project teams.
