Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data & Reporting Consultant (Power BI) to support key initiatives in data governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on-site collaboration, and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while advancing your expertise in a fast-paced environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $53.99/hr – $64.79/hr
Responsibilities
- Lead the rehaul of the SharePoint hub to enhance user accessibility and streamline content management
- Develop and write clear, compelling communications, utilizing tools like Co-Pilot to tell impactful stories
- Support and execute data literacy training programs to improve organizational data understanding
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to support reporting and analytics needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements and ensure data governance standards are upheld
- Assist in process improvements and support change management initiatives within the data environment
- Build strong relationships with business segments and corporate functions to enable effective data management
- Support enterprise data projects, ensuring alignment with governance and strategic objectives
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data reporting and analytics
- Proficiency in Power BI and familiarity with AI tools supporting business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of storytelling and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to think strategically while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
- Excellent relationship management skills across varied levels of stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and business requirements
- Experience with data governance and enterprise change management practices
- Technical proficiency in collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and content management platforms
Nice to Have
- Certifications in Power BI, Change Management, or related areas
- Experience with Collibra or similar data governance tools
- Previous work in financial services or banking sectors
- Proven leadership in internal communications, town halls, or community forums
- Data-driven background with enterprise project experience
