Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Derivatives Analyst who will be responsible for risk management for the Global Rates and Credit Derivatives businesses including the end-to-end processes for pre and post-trade functions including settlement, trade life cycle events, reconciliations and investigations. This candidate must coordinate and interact with various Operations teams, Sales & Trading, Technology, Compliance, Legal and other professionals across the firm to mitigate risks associated with the reconciliation and investigation of derivative transactions. The ideal candidate is an individual who is comfortable taking ownership of complex and challenging initiatives and who is forward-thinking and innovative.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Excellent understanding of the derivatives products the businesses supports
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Have:

  • Experience working in a large financial organization
  • Proficient in various systems used by the business i.e. Calypso, RCM, PMG etc.
  • Strong skills with Alteryx and Python
