Working with an industry leader and one of Canada's most prestigious enterprise organizations, this is an opportunity for a Director – Agile Transformation to take on a pivotal role in implementing transformational change within the client’s Digital group. The successful candidate will possess experience with managing a team to launch Agile programs with training and team onboarding emphasizing Agile and Lean thinking, tools and techniques. The Director will have solid people management experience handling direct reports with core responsibilities of managing KPIs and employee engagement while coaching and providing one-on-one guidance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent conflict management, interpersonal and relationship management skills and will have strong experience with Agile transformation of digital channels line of business such as Omni Channels, Web, eCommerce, Mobile Applications, Call/Contact Center, Digital Marketing and Retail. This individual will work alongside other Directors and Leadership teams to provide feedback/direction on potential areas of improvement in a high-growth area of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Create roadmap for adopting and implementing Agile methodologies that work across department lines
  • Act as the subject matter expert responsible for developing a new mindset within the team and instilling a positive impact of change to the business through effective Agile/lean frameworks
  • Responsible for building and growing a team of highly engaged and effective Scrum Masters and Coaches while developing top talent

Desired Skill-Set:

  • 5+ years of solid experience as a Manager, managing KPIs and coaching direct reports
  • Experience with building or managing a large Agile team
  • 8-10 years of experience with leading a large-scale, complex enterprise Agile transformation
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience
  • Agile expertise: Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile, and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong experience with Agile transformation of digital channels line of business such as Omni Channels, Web, eCommerce, Mobile Applications, Call/Contact Center, Digital Marketing and Retail
  • Experience in supporting digital business with a focus on Digital Customer Experience (DCX), UI/UX, Client Experience and Customer Experience (CX)
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles and toolsets and test automation
  • Strong relationships with senior management and executive leadership team
  • Experience in successfully driving critical, large-scale changes in a complex, multi-stakeholder organization
  • Ability to attract top talent and scaler a fast-growing team
