Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Data Analyst – Clarity PPM /Banking. This position involves leveraging data to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and supporting operational excellence within the organization. The role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote and onsite work, with opportunities for ongoing contract extension and potential conversion to full-time employment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $67.65/hr – $81.18/hr
Responsibilities
- Extract financial data from the Clarity system and analyze large datasets for accuracy
- Identify discrepancies and determine root causes in financial transactions
- Summarize analytical findings and develop action plans to rectify issues within reporting cycles
- Lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement fixes effectively
- Propose process improvements to streamline future financial reporting activities
- Collaborate with team members, dedicating approximately 2-3 hours daily to meetings and discussions
- Maintain communication with internal resources and external vendors related to financial data management
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies during data analysis and process improvements
Desired Skill-Set
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including large data analysis, formulas, and file merging
- Hands-on experience with Clarity financial management software
- Demonstrated experience working within large organizations
- Strong understanding of financial data analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Strong analytical skills

- Experience with Jira project management tool
