Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Graphic Designer – Motion Graphics and Production Artist who will play a key role in producing engaging multimedia content. This position involves delivering short-form motion design, video editing, and updating brand documents using approved templates, primarily supporting internal communications, marketing, and digital assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the organization’s visual storytelling efforts and ensuring brand consistency across all outputs.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce motion graphics and animations for digital platforms, presentations, and internal communications.
- Edit videos and audio, including balancing sound, creating seamless transitions, and applying color corrections.
- Develop storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts aligned with stakeholder input.
- Create and adapt motion templates for efficient reuse while maintaining brand standards.
- Prepare video and graphic assets for delivery across various channels, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Execute basic graphic design tasks such as image retouching, layout updates, and prepping files for digital and print formats.
- Implement accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA) in motion and document outputs, including captioning and contrast adjustments.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, maintaining communication and proactive updates with stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production issues and suggest workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and share best practices to foster continuous improvement.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in motion graphics, video editing, or graphic design within corporate or agency settings.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with strong animation and keyframing skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and assembly.
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset creation and refinement.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, particularly in layout refinement and template use.
- Understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, and layout best practices.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA) and their application in multimedia content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently.
- Clear communication skills for stakeholder management and collaborative teamwork.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Media Encoder for exporting and compressing videos.
- Familiarity with Adobe Audition for basic audio editing and sound leveling.
- Basic knowledge of HTML editing within email/newsletter templates (Dreamweaver or similar).
