Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Help Desk – Credit Card who will be responsible for understanding customer needs and providing advice and service to customers or prospects. The ideal candidate possesses specialized knowledge, excellent communication skills, and organization skills.


  • Fulfill sales and service activities for the customer per approved procedures.
  • Identify and make referrals to other business groups as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries in an informed, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Probe to understand customer needs and provide advice related to their objectives.
  • Manage all transactional outcomes of customer calls or defer to appropriate internal business groups.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved customer situations to senior managers.
  • Performs required documentation to ensure customers’ requests are accurately processed.
  • Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information.
  • Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity that are suspected to be related to money laundering.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing reporting requirements, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) consumer provision requirements, and Privacy Act provisions.
  • Complete complex & diverse tasks within given rules/limits and handle escalations from other employees.
  • Analyze issues and determine the next steps.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Desired Skill Set:

  • High school education, or equivalent work experience.
  • Term Investment Certification.
  • Knowledge of small business and credit card products.
