Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Integration Architect with expertise in ITIL practices and banking systems. This position offers a strategic opportunity to influence core technology processes, support trade finance operations, and contribute to a rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of system integration, troubleshooting, and IT support processes, with a keen interest in architectural design and cross-vendor technology landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement system integration patterns such as REST APIs and message queues (MQ) to connect various banking and trade finance systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, analyze system failures, and provide efficient resolutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Apply ITIL frameworks to support incident, problem, change, and service management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and support the evolution of technology solutions in a banking environment.
- Participate in deployment activities, including on-call rotations, ensuring reliable operational support.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience with system and system integration architectures, including REST APIs, MQ, or similar technologies.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices in IT support and service management.
- Prior experience with third-level support, system design, or enterprise architecture.
- Basic understanding of technologies across different vendors and platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in architecture design and implementation within banking or financial services.
- Background in trade finance systems or related banking domains.
- Prior experience working in a similar role at a financial institution.
- Knowledge of banking environments.
