Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate Project Manager – Learning & Development who will develop an understanding of overall portfolio/program movement with individual lines of business and rationalize how the assigned projects fit with business priorities in the long term. This candidate will drive L&D processes to implement learning solutions in various formats, including but not limited to in-person or virtual Instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, webinars, self-directed learner pathways, and workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, leveraging key project management tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Support the vendor selection, engagement and onboarding process when third-party learning solutions are within scope
- Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies
- Build relationships and maintain regular communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Report on project progress with project teams and business stakeholders at different levels
- In partnership with L&D CoEs and business partners, support the development of a delivery strategy, change & launch communications plan, and maintenance plan
- Ensure tight governance control and actively manage/resolve risks and issues
- Conduct project retrospectives and act on lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging trends in project management inclusive of Agile and hybrid project practices and principles
- Be an active member of the broader project management community by sharing subject matter expertise and learning to advance professional growth
Desired Skill Set:
- 7 years of experience in Project Management
- 7 years of strong exposure to large/complex project
- Agile Experience
- Strong communication skills
