We are looking for a driven Recruitment Associate to join our growing team with a focus on IT and technical recruitment. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role where your ability to source, engage, and screen technical talent will directly impact our success. You will work closely with senior recruiters to own the candidate experience end-to-end, supporting hiring across a wide range of IT roles including infrastructure, development, data, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.

Annual Salary Range (CAD): $55,000 – $60,000

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening and pre-qualification of candidates for IT and technical contract and permanent roles
  • Source and build pipelines of qualified IT talent across roles such as infrastructure, development, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
  • Support senior recruiters with sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of technical positions
  • Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess experience, technical exposure, communication skills, and overall fit
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, internal databases, and passive sourcing techniques
  • Re-engage and network with past applicants and active contractor communities
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment cycle
  • Prepare candidate summaries, resumes, and skill matrices for client submission
  • Accurately document candidate activity and communication within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews and ensure a strong candidate experience throughout
  • Ask for referrals to support hard-to-fill technical requirements
  • Act as a BeachHead ambassador by promoting our company and client opportunities within the talent market
  • Support continuous improvement of sourcing strategies and recruitment workflows

Desired Skill Set

  • 2–3+ years of recruitment, staffing, sourcing, or related experience preferred
  • Exposure to or interest in Information Technology recruitment, technical roles, or IT environments
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment or agency environment is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with confidence conducting phone and virtual interviews
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong attention to detail including resume formatting and candidate documentation
  • Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking ability
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn technical terminology and IT market trends
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Interest in technology, recruiting, and talent acquisition
