Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Jr Sourcing/ Procurement Analyst who will be responsible for supporting and contributing to sourcing activities such as conducting due diligence tasks for various projects. This candidate will be responsible for analyzing and producing high-quality category spend and savings analyses, compliance reports and commentaries. The successful candidate must provide a range of application or systems analytical support to sourcing and business partners

Responsibilities:

  • Quality assurance/quality control of due diligence tasks
  • Assist in the development of RFIs, RFPs, service level and negotiation documents
  • Support the sourcing team in executing the RFI/RFQ/RFP bid process
  • Support the sourcing team within Sourcing tools and systems
  • Develop and conduct supplier pricing analysis
  • Develop and conduct supplier evaluation analysis
  • Support the sourcing team in preparation for internal business and supplier meetings
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal/external business partners and/or suppliers
  • Research and analyze various category spend
  • Gather and analyze data relative to demand, spending and vendors to assist teams in making a recommendation on vendor selection
  • Research supply markets and industry trends
  • Prepare appropriate recommendations and presentations based on research findings and analysis

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical, problem solving and attention-to-detail skills
  • Agility, flexibility, adaptability, a self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Exceptional Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable and confident in interacting with all levels of employees from various areas

  • Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to react quickly and recognize priorities

Nice to have:

  • Background in Finance and comfortable with numbers
