Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Junior Business Analyst- Identity Access Management who will be responsible for sending out attestation emails, tracking progress and responses, submission of revocation requests and documentation of data change requirements. This candidate must initiate follow-ups and escalations per the process defined. The successful candidate will manage the attestation packages, ensure completeness and accuracy per the defined process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing large amounts of data, access management with an analytical mindset and automation knowledge to help streamline processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Access controls: Administration of manual attestations
  • Obtain user lists that outlines the type of access for various applications
  • Prepare attestation requests to be sent to people managers/attesters
  • Timely follow up/escalations to next level managers for managers who don't complete their attestation
  • Respond to questions from people managers/attesters regarding accesses to certain applications
  • Engage vendors/internal support teams to understand questions from the people managers/attesters
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly attestation packages
  • Work with other teams (E.g. Technology teams) to onboard new attestations for applications
  • Access management experience (individuals who are fresh out of school don’t typically have this)
  • Attestation: getting People Managers to review access of their direct reports
  • Analyst will reach out to various groups (tech, vendors, business, etc.) for user data. Once they receive the data this gets mapped to People Managers
  • Create spreadsheet of who reports to who
  • The manager is to confirm if access is to continue or be revoked, If continued, spreadsheets will need to be updated
  • Answer questions from People Managers (a lot of back and forth)
  • Work with other teams to onboard new attestations
  • Files are saved monthly and quarterly for future audits
  • Engaged to work with tech teams to set up new attestation processes
  • Very minimal phone calls – clarify things with the manager when needed
  • Must be able to follow a process (can’t miss a step)
  • A lot of documentation

Desired Skill Set:

  • Experience with User Attestation Administration experience
  • Experience with Access Management
  • Experience in Reporting
  • Ability to equally work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Have excellent time management, multitasking, task planning and prioritization skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills (v-lookups, pivot tables)
  • Strong analytical skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with business and IT groups
  • Experience with Excel Macros
  • Proficient in Python
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx
  • Experience or knowledge of Automation/Development (any program)
  • Degree in relevant field
