Working with one of our top financial clients this role calls for a Liquidity Risk Analyst who will be responsible for leveraging their analytical skills while working with large and diverse data sets, gaining an in-depth understanding of liquidity risk and regulatory reporting, learning about all the business segments of the company, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and working on high profile initiatives that will provide recommendations around liquidity treatment and control framework to senior leaders. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.


  • Work with Senior Manager to establish a work plan for the project, including key milestones and timing of deliverables.
  • Liaise with other Treasury teams responsible for managing liquidity in the Canadian Retail, US Retail, and Wholesale businesses, as well as Risk Management and Technology, to understand the current liquidity reporting systems and reports.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the full suite of liquidity reporting, including interpretation of liquidity treatments for a variety of product types across all the business segments of the company.
  • Summarize findings and propose recommendations to senior management.
  • Perform detailed analysis to document how liquidity reporting complies with regulatory requirements and whether the interpretation is aligned across different areas.
  • Perform testing to provide internal assurance around the effectiveness of controls.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Lead meetings/working groups to gather information, discuss recommendations, design future reporting and controls, and track progress against action plans.
  • Proactively propose process improvements and work with production/technology teams to implement changes.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to VP Enterprise Liquidity Management as required.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Experience working in the Financial industry.
  • Experience working with liquidity risk management principles as well as regulatory liquidity metrics.
  • Experience working with financial products.
  • Experience preparing documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Experience working with MS Excel.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with large data sets using Excel and working with SQL and Alteryx.
  • Experience in conducting testing or internal assurance on processes.
  • Experience working with LCR liquidity reports.
  • Experience working with NSFR liquidity reports.
  • Experience working with NCCF liquidity reports.
