Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data and Reporting Analyst – Senior and offers an exciting opportunity to support marketing initiatives through advanced analytics and reporting. This position involves analyzing diverse data sources, developing dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing strategies for the US and Canada markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for turning data into strategic business value.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from various sources including CRM systems, web analytics platforms, social media, email campaigns, and paid media channels.
  • Segment target audiences and identify behavioral trends to inform and refine marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure data insights align with business goals.
  • Apply statistical methods to forecast campaign outcomes and evaluate budget efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for ongoing optimization.
  • Conduct data discovery and exploration to uncover new opportunities for analysis.
  • Develop technical specifications to support journey development and enhancements.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for journey reporting, ensuring stakeholders have real-time visibility into performance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications to facilitate accurate data analysis and reporting.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of two years of technical experience with SQL and Power BI for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Over one year of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as data analytics, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience supporting marketing campaigns through data analysis.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex insights clearly.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience as a marketing analyst or in a related analytical role.
  • Previous experience within the financial industry, with familiarity in banking or financial services preferred.

Interviews include one or two rounds lasting approximately one hour each via Teams, with the hiring manager and a colleague, and may include a technical assessment. Candidates are encouraged to prepare a technical portfolio if available.
