Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Marketing Manager – Newcomer – Brand/Agency who will support the growing requirements with end-to-end responsibilities. The successful candidate must have strategic thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and time management skills, strong attention to detail especially in execution, and the ability to translate research and data into actionable insights. Main responsibilities, but not limited to, are events sponsorships and strategic partnerships. 


  • Main responsibilities, but not limited to, are events sponsorships and strategic partnerships. Support with exceptional work and campaign management for all NTC as needed (i.e. request for translations and creatives, billing, coordinating with various parties on deliverables, etc). Overall, the Senior Marketing Manager will be working closely with the candidate to oversee projects and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Makes recommendations and /or assists in solving problems to ensure communication solutions are implemented
  • Participates in communication strategy development
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment between stakeholders
  • Identifies and liaises with the stakeholders about opportunities for communications to other groups (e.g. customers, media, etc.) to increase communication effectiveness and alignment
  • Actively looks for opportunities for continuous improvement of communications processes and procedures, and participates in/leads communications continuous improvement initiatives
  • Remains alert to new trends, tools and methods of communication, and makes recommendations on their application
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed

Desired Skill Set:

  •  4 – 6 years of professional working experience in strategy and campaign management with a marketing role on the brand side or agency side (paid media or events) as the primary client lead. 
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience in India or familiarity with the Indian market 
  • Have an understanding of newcomers to Canada, which also includes their own experience.
  • Work well under pressure with strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders 
  • Strong ability to apply research/data/learnings into strategic plans to deliver on business goals (and not just providing data), as well as the ability to take technical and complex information and distill it to key messages that make sense for the audience
  • Strong English verbal & written communication skills
  • Is a collaborative team player who is pro-active and driven, and can also work independently 5 years of strong Technology background

Nice To Have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in banking/ financial institutions 
  • 1-2 years of experience in Sponsorships/ Partnerships, experience in negotiation or stakeholder management within these partnerships 
  • Can read/ write/ speak Indian or Chinese languages
