Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Middle Office Analyst-Fixed Income. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic Fixed Income Middle Office environment, supporting post-trade activities across Interest Rate Derivatives, with the potential for career growth in a strategic and expanding domain.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.84/hr – $65.81/hr
Responsibilities
- Support daily activities within the Compression & Derivative Support team during business hours
- Assist with global CCP portfolio compression processes and reporting
- Reconcile, validate, and process payments for Interest Rate Derivative brokerage and fees
- Investigate and resolve trade-level cash breaks and discrepancies
- Perform ad hoc lifecycle actions and support corporate action postings
- Respond to queries related to Risk, P&L, and Funding differences
- Collaborate with global FIMO teams to maintain post-trade lifecycle processes
- Help update procedures and support control and audit requirements
- Participate in process improvement and change initiatives
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in middle office operations
- Strong background in fixed income products and capital markets
- Experience supporting interest rate derivatives
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and formulas
- Experience with portfolio compression
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools or assistants
- Familiarity with rate cards or brokerage systems
