Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Murex Application Support who will provideL1/L2 Application Support /Production support for FX-based applications. The ideal candidate will support both Data heavy applications as well as front-end applications. The individual needs to have experience with the batch job schedulers and handle releases/Deployments, risk analysis, impact analysis of any change affecting the application. The successful candidate will work with technologies such as UNIX/LINUX, SQL, Database concepts, Scripting language.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 4 years of experience with Murex 
  • 4 years of experience with Unix 
  • 4 years of experience with SQL 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial industry, Trade workflows 
  • knowledge with Murex Application
  • 3 years of experience with Production support in a financial domain
  • Experience with any of the Service management tools such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with any of the Application/Infrastructure monitoring tools: ITRS Geneos, Splunk,
  • Experience with ITIL processes, Planning and execution of DR tests, COB, etc
  • Experience with Batch processing
  • Proficient communication skills(written and verbal), ability to communicate with business teams and various other stakeholders
  • Ability to react quickly and handle high-stress situations in the financial industry
  • Willing to provide off-hours support and weekend support on a rotation basis
  • Knowledge of FX business

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Application/Production support 
  • Experience with FX Business knowledge 
  • Experience with ITRS Geneos
  • Experience with ITIL Process: Incident management, change management, problem management, release management, Knowledge management
  • Experience with SLA Management
  • Experience with ServiceNow
