Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Payments Analyst – Banking. This position involves providing operational support within a dynamic banking environment, focusing on payments and equity processes, and contributing to enhancements of operational workflows. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr
Responsibilities
- Support back-office operations related to payments and equity processing
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to analysis and reporting on critical operational activities and projects
- Maintain organized records and attention to detail in transaction processing
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate through Teams calls as needed
- Uphold service standards by providing customer service support where applicable
- Adapt to a rotational work schedule, with initial in-office requirement and later hybrid arrangement
- Follow protocols to ensure compliance with operational and security policies
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience in payments and equity operations
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and related practices
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
Nice to Have
- VBA knowledge or experience
- Leadership skills or potential
- Prior experience with Kyndral or similar systems
