Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Project Manager- AML who will be responsible for leading the development of technical solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture and technology delivery principles. This candidate will partner with business, project management and technology groups to effectively communicate technology decisions and drive business results, ensuring alignment with the organization's Target Operating Model (TOM), technology roadmap and approach, enterprise architecture/technologies

  • Work closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet technical direction, requirements, budget, scalability, and architectural goals, ensuring all risks and impacts are considered
  • Leverage technology expertise to support the creation and delivery of end-to-end technical solutions and help to support driving business outcomes
  • Participate in business planning discussions and define the technology delivery approach, and leverage synergies across the various teams and applications
  • Act as lead to ensure compliance with enterprise and segment standards (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)
  • Monitor and manage incident escalation process; work with project managers and business partners as needed to resolve efficiently and effectively
  • Identify and implement opportunities to minimize and reduce costs in collaboration with Technology Lead; identify appropriate solutions and support the deployment of innovative product and software solutions
  • Collaborate with partners and project teams on software quality assurance reviews
  • Drive and execute project deliverables
  • Execute project solution planning activities or POC
  • Work with partners across Technology and apply a deep understanding of relevant business needs to identify and leverage synergies across the other project workstreams within the program
  • Provides ongoing communication to key stakeholders, including the Technology Delivery Executive, Technical Lead, and Project Manager to ensure they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely manner
  • Proactively identifies and tracks project risk and develops mitigation plans to manage risk (i.e., risk related to technology, change management, procurement, business process management, requirements management)
  • Develops innovative approaches to create solutions to resolve problems and significant issues within the project's mandate Identify all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed
  • Manage resource requirements and assignments, ensuring project milestones are met and monitoring to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Interact with governance and control groups, (e.g. regulatory and operational risk, compliance and audit) to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues/items relating to technology and tools
  • Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate nonstandard, high-risk transactions/activities as necessary
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
  • Lead teams to deliver solutions within the project, meet SLA’s, Interface with IT, finance, audit, business unit management and other areas of client to ensure integrated processes, efficient introduction of new technologies, the retirement of obsolete technologies and support for business-led initiatives requiring the capabilities of the Technology Delivery function
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensures timely communication of issues/ points of interest

Desired Skill Set:

  • 7 years of proven experience in development and technology delivery
  • 7 years of extensive exposure to Anti-Money Laundering
  • Solid experience in leading teams and taking initiative
  • Some knowledge of banking applications, systems, design activities, best practices, bank standards
  • Technical skills and a strong understanding of the team's product, technology, and issues

Nice To Have:

  • Expertise in Agile delivery
  • Proficiency in Oracle
  • Solid experience in Global Visions/Patriot Officer
  • Exposure to Regulatory Projects
  • Excellent working knowledge of Symphoni AI or Net Revel AI
  • University Degree or College Diploma
