Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – Capital Markets??????. This position involves overseeing the delivery of complex software initiatives within a global derivatives platform supporting multiple asset classes and business units. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-asset projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to critical regulatory and business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of derivatives technology projects, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and expectations effectively
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and risk stakeholders
  • Apply Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices to ensure seamless delivery
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive meetings toward clear outcomes
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary
  • Support deployment and post-implementation reviews to ensure project success and continuous improvement
  • Engage with global teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk standards

Desired Skill-Set

  • 5–10+ years of experience in capital markets technology project management
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, risk concepts, valuation fundamentals, and P&L drivers
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software projects in a financial services environment
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, SDLC, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influence, with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project objectives and issues
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related fields
  • Certifications such as PMP, CFA, or FRM are considered strong assets

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on cross-asset derivatives platforms
  • Exposure to regulatory or compliance projects within capital markets
  • Knowledge of pricing engines, valuation models, and risk sensitivities
  • Prior experience working with global teams or in a matrixed environment
