Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager-CyberSecurity/Banking. This position involves developing and maintaining governance frameworks, leading portfolio planning, managing interdependencies, mitigating risks, and optimizing resource allocation for complex cyber projects related to regulatory and audit compliance. The role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing team, engage with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic security initiatives that impact the organization’s long-term security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures to support transparency and decision-making.
  • Lead overall portfolio planning, establish cadence, and manage interdependencies.
  • Translate team goals into actionable plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Design and deliver executive-ready dashboards and reports to communicate progress and insights.
  • Build and sustain relationships with senior executives and internal teams to influence outcomes.
  • Provide strategic guidance, incorporate findings into operational improvements, and respond to regulatory changes.
  • Conduct analyses, make recommendations, and support operational efficiencies and sustainable growth.
  • Manage risks, mitigate issues, and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
  • Support audit and regulatory compliance initiatives within cybersecurity projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant technology solutions.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Over 10 years of experience in cyber security as a Program or Project Manager.
  • Proven track record in creating business cases and managing financials.
  • Post secondary education in a relevant field (degree or diploma).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing risk and compliance in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of NIS framework.
  • Previous experience in a large enterprise or financial organization.
  • PMP certification.
  • Familiarity with banking environments.
