Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – GRC/Enterprise Risk. This position involves planning, organizing, and overseeing the successful delivery of enterprise risk and operational projects, including BAU releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing stakeholder communication, and mitigating project risks.

Pay rate range (CAD): $68.84/hr – $82.60/hr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
  • Monitor scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for assigned projects and regular releases.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT, and testing teams.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key actions and decisions.
  • Track progress against milestones; escalate risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure all project artifacts, governance materials, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain prioritization lists and plan modules for upcoming releases.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing through tester coordination, defect tracking, and sign-off.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among business units, technology teams, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and project changes effectively to all parties.
  • Identify, log, and mitigate project/BAU risks and issues; escalate blockers as needed.
  • Coordinate with change management, training, and communication teams for documentation and compliance needs.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience within financial services or related industries.
  • Proven ability to support both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
