Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a QA Analyst Archer who will be responsible for writing and executing test cases and interacting with business stakeholders. This candidate will be working with the testing team and interacting with 7 LOBs. They must bring with them knowledge about quality assurance with experience in Archer application or Risk management experience. The ideal candidate for this role is a friendly person, polite, and comfortable with executive-level communication skills.


  • Collaborate with the development of a delivery approach and work plan, aligned with the project milestone dates and consider constraints, dependencies, and strategic drivers
  • Engage, enable and lead stakeholders to final agreement and signoff of applicable deliverables
  • Assess change requests and their impacts, checking for alignment to initiative objectives at all stages.
  • Communicate progress on assigned testing activities to the BOT Manager.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to the BOT Manager or Test Lead where appropriate
  • Identify opportunities to leverage test automation
  • Provide input into Project Test Plan including identifying and documenting test scope, approach, resources, schedule, environments, and data requirements
  • Review user stories, business requirements, technical specifications, business processes, and any other applicable deliverables to identify test scenarios and test cases.
  • Work with multiple business stakeholder groups to validate test scenarios
  • Create test cases to cover test scenarios, perform test execution, and document test results.
  • Work with BOT Manager and other teams to ensure test data and test environment readiness
  • Assess if entry and exit criteria are met and make recommendations to remediate when they are not met
  • Manage testing progress by tracking to the baseline plan. Collaborate with re-planning effort as required.
  • Report all identified testing issues and defects throughout the defect lifecycle to resolution.
  • Identify and update the regression package for future use.
  • Able to update/execute automated test scripts when required.

Desired Skillset:

  • 7 years of QA experience in the Financial Services Industry following Waterfall and/or Agile methodology
  • 4 years of experience performing Business Testing and working with business stakeholders.
  • Archer knowledge or Risk Management knowledge.
  • Experience with Jira, Sharepoint, Confluence


Nice to Have:

  • Quality Assurance accreditation
  • Knowledge of MS Office Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Project
  • Strong team player with excellent communication, relationship management, consensus building, and influencing skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
