Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sales Coordinator – Institutional Sales. This position plays a vital behind-the-scenes role, supporting daily sales and client service activities to ensure smooth operations and successful client engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Pay rate range (CAD): $30.43/hr – $36.52/hr

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the institutional sales and service team
  • Support client service processes, sales activities, and enablement initiatives to meet business objectives
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for ad-hoc requests and ongoing initiatives
  • Prepare and coordinate internal and external sales and client communications for clarity and consistency
  • Project manage the creation and distribution of sales materials, overseeing copy, design, compliance, translation, and delivery
  • Maintain and organize sales content within content management systems for easy access
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events including conferences, roadshows, and client meetings
  • Manage event logistics, materials, communications, and follow-up activities
  • Support promotional merchandise and inventory related to client engagement efforts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to execute initiatives on time and to standard
  • Track project timelines, coordinate deliverables, and ensure quality outputs
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sales support and client experience

Desired Skill-Set

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services or asset management industry
  • 5+ years in event management, sales support, administrative support, client service, content development, or project management
  • Proven experience supporting sales or distribution teams and senior leadership
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including CoPilot, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and resourcefully
  • Service-oriented with a proactive approach and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting in a rapidly changing environment

Nice to Have

  • General understanding of investments, asset classes, and institutional sales environment
  • Familiarity with CRM or sales enablement platforms such as Salesforce or Seismic
  • Progress toward or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the investment industry
