Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a SAS Programmer – Risk Management who will be responsible for working with the Business in understanding current SAS programs across multiple groups and translating business and technical requirements to be converted to SQL by in-house developers. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


  • Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems operations Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Report directly to a project lead or manager.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Experience working with Risk management.
  • Experience working with PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Experience working with SAS, SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS Enterprise Guide, Mainframe SAS/TSO/JCL, SAS/SHARE/SPDS.
  • Experience working with MS Access, Sybase SQL Server, MS SQL Server, MySQL Toad, Oracle, DB2, Netezza.
  • Experience working with a large amount of financial data, data acquisition/extraction from various platforms into SAS environment, data transformation, and load data to reporting platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • SAS Certification.
  • Experience working in the Financial industry.
