Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Software Engineer supporting enterprise architecture with a focus on PowerApps and Power Automate development. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale organizational projects, work within a dynamic Agile team, and enhance your expertise in Microsoft Power Platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain PowerApps (Canvas) and Power Automate workflows to meet enterprise requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, Business System Analysts (BSA), QA teams, and other developers within Agile sprints to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in technical design sessions, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and resolve critical production issues promptly, maintaining system stability and performance.
- Assist in evaluating current assets, recommending improvements, and implementing optimizations to enhance application functionality.
- Produce accurate estimates for development tasks, identify potential risks, and communicate issues proactively.
- Follow established development methodologies, lifecycle processes, and documentation standards.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess impacts, and plan integration strategies efficiently.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform trends and emerging technologies, applying relevant innovations to projects.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle application development within enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps (Canvas) and Power Automate, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and integration techniques.
- Experience with security protocols such as SSO, token-based, and certificate-based authentication.
- Solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices, with 2-3 years of experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to develop estimates, communicate risks, and produce high-quality deliverables efficiently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Windows Services development is an asset.
- Knowledge of enterprise security standards and infrastructure.
