Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst – Integration & ITSM. This position involves supporting a key ServiceNow security integration project, focusing on analyzing, defining, and translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate detailed functional and non-functional requirements in alignment with established standards and frameworks.
  • Develop comprehensive system requirements, technical, and functional specifications in partnership with business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Design and recommend effective technology solutions by assessing current system capabilities and collaborating with Solution Architects and Developers.
  • Support testing efforts by translating requirements and use cases into test conditions, expected results, and participating in various testing phases.
  • Contribute to project scoping, effort estimation, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and escalate issues promptly to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review design documentation, prototypes, and deliverables for compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impacts on existing systems and processes, orchestrating smooth integration.
  • Maintain adherence to best practices in requirements management, project delivery standards, and enterprise architecture.
  • Actively pursue ongoing professional development in relevant technologies, processes, and industry trends.
  • Support the development of business cases, vendor engagement, and service-level agreements.
  • Facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, managing multiple projects and priorities as needed.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members, fostering knowledge transfer and team growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and service delivery.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including 3+ years specializing in ServiceNow.
  • Proven expertise in leading ServiceNow integration projects, with at least 2 years of direct experience.
  • Strong knowledge of system analysis techniques, enterprise technology practices, and solutions development.
  • Extensive experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, and non-functional specifications.
  • Hands-on experience supporting testing phases, including UAT, performance, and operational acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with project management methods, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Certification in ServiceNow (such as CSA) is required; additional certifications like ITIL or SAFE PO/PM are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently and adapt to changing project needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAFE 6.0 or other scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL best practices.
  • Prior experience working in a financial services environment.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in complex, multi-team settings.
