Working with one of our leading public sector clients, this is an exciting opportunity for a Specialized IT Consultant – Senior who will work n partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization’s I&IT systems. The successful candidate who will provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT. The individual will provide 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
  • Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
  • Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Develop processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
  • Prepare reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
  • Work with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
  • Define software, hardware and network requirements
  • Analyze I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
  • Design, test, install and monitor new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
  • Familiar with change-management principles and methodology
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Desired Skill-Set:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience evaluating, analyzing, developing and managing telecommunications product/services
  • 10+ years of experience working for a telecommunications service provider in a technical or business capacity
  • 5+ years of experience preparing/responding to request for proposals related to telecommunications products/services
  • Extensive experience with product/service collateral and related internal/external communications
  • Extensive experience with preparing and analyzing complex service data and costing models for trends, potential risks and mitigations (financial, cost models, operational, performance) for I&IT products/services
  • Extensive experience with developing a variety of business plans and reports, and presenting to management and other stakeholders. Knowledge of modern telecommunications service models and networking approaches
  • 8+ years of experience conducting business analysis and stakeholder communications related to I&IT products/services
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy to ensure client needs are managed effectively
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
