Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr AML Specialist – Adverse Media/ MSB/ PEP. This position involves supporting AML screening processes against various watchlists and flags within a fast-paced environment. Pay rate range (CAD): $45.66/hr – $54.79/hr
Responsibilities
- Support screening against watchlists and flagging processes
- Review adverse media related to client transactions
- Monitor and analyze data related to Money Service Businesses (MSB) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with AML regulations
- Document findings and update case management systems accurately
- Contribute to process improvements in AML screening procedures
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Meet specified SLAs and KPIs for screening and review tasks
Desired Skill-Set
- 2+ years of AML experience (closer to 4 years preferred)
- Experience with adverse media investigations
- Knowledge of MSB/PEP screening processes
- Prior experience in transaction screening protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Attention to detail and self-motivated approach
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Initiative-taking mindset

- ACAMS certification
- Banking or financial institution experience
