Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for aSr. Business Systems Analyst and offers an exciting opportunity to lead core platform implementations, particularly within the equity swaps domain. You'll be instrumental in managing end-to-end project phases, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring seamless integration of trading systems and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical solutions
- Support the implementation and rollout of core Equity Swaps platforms such as Murex, NuvoPrime, Swap One, and Imagine
- Build detailed client reports and verify trade data accuracy, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards
- Develop a deep understanding of the swaps trading lifecycle, including Equity, Portfolio, and Total Return Swaps
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, and Operations to facilitate project success
- Conduct data mapping, perform query analysis using SQL, JSON, and other tools, and support downstream technical analysis
- Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
- Support testing and validation of system functionalities and participate in release management activities
Desired Skill-Set
- Over 7 years of experience in Capital Markets, with a focus on derivatives and trading systems
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, documentation (BRD, FRD, Test Cases), and stakeholder engagement
- Hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager within Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of Equity Swaps, Portfolio Swaps, Synthetic Prime Brokerage, and related trading instruments
- Familiarity with core trading system platforms such as Murex, NuvoPrime, Swap One, and Imagine
- Proficiency with tools including JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, SQL, and JSON
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
Nice to Have
- Programming experience in Python or additional scripting languages
- Previous exposure to product integration and technical implementation support
- Experience working directly with trading and operational stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
