Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Integration Support Analyst – ITIL and offers a unique opportunity to lead complex system integrations within a dynamic banking environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the seamless connection of internal banking platforms with external vendor systems, focusing on retail distribution, trade finance, and collections. This position balances project-driven initiatives with operational support responsibilities, including rotational on-call duties for after-hours system support. You will contribute to designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and continuously enhancing integration flows, ensuring reliable system performance and compliance across multiple teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support integrations between internal banking systems and third-party vendor platforms.
  • Participate in both strategic projects and day-to-day operational support to ensure the stability and reliability of integrated systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system diagrams, support guides, and integration specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to integrations and applications, supporting after-hours on-call rotations as needed.
  • Collaborate with business units, internal technology teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver efficient integration solutions aligned with operational needs.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tickets, track progress, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Act as a primary technical point of contact in vendor discussions and internal stakeholder meetings, providing expertise and guidance on integration matters.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration or equivalent technical roles within a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL service management principles and change management processes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and creating system and data flow diagrams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with technical teams and vendors effectively.
  • Technical expertise in networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, proxies, SSL/TLS, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with messaging and integration platforms like IBM MQ, JMS, SFTP/FTPS, or equivalent MFT solutions.
  • API integration experience, particularly with REST APIs, including authentication and payload mapping. Familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI is a plus.
  • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Windows Batch, or JavaScript for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or DataDog.
  • Understanding of secure file handling, encryption, authentication flows, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Mainframe integration, including TSO, SDSF, and IMS Connect.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting logs and system behaviors across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to synthesize diverse data points into actionable insights and root cause analyses.
  • Prior experience working with third-party vendors and managing contractual or escalation processes.
  • Skills in advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel and presentation creation with PowerPoint.
