Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. iOS Developer-Banking/SwiftUI. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-usage mobile applications, participate in innovative initiatives, and grow within a leading financial institution. The role involves working collaboratively with a small, dynamic team, delivering high-quality solutions, and driving impactful projects aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Design adaptive UI components with SwiftUI and ensure reusability and responsiveness across devices.
  • Implement Swift Concurrency features such as Async/Await for efficient asynchronous programming.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests using XCTest, Snapshot tests, and related frameworks to ensure code reliability with at least 80% test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions on 2-week sprint cycles.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Document code, design decisions, and technical workflows thoroughly.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices and technical guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, focusing on automation using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Support initiatives involving ApplePay, Wallet (PassKit), and scripting automation tasks with Ruby, Python, Bash, or YAML (nice to have).

Desired Skill-Set

  • 10+ years of experience with Swift programming language, with solid understanding of Objective-C.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SwiftUI, emphasizing adaptive UI design and reusable components.
  • 2+ years of experience in Swift Concurrency, including Async/Await.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute high-quality unit tests with XCTest and related frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience in software teams.
  • High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ApplePay and Wallet PassKit.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows with tools like GitHub Actions for automation of testing, builds, and deployments.
  • Scripting expertise in Ruby, Python, Bash, or YAML for workflow automation.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services industries.
