Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Learning & Development Project Manager/Training Projects/Banking. This position involves managing medium to high complexity training projects, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving innovative learning solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall portfolio and program landscape across lines of business to align project initiatives with long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of medium- to high-complexity L&D projects, utilizing key project management tools to ensure timely, scope-compliant, and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Drive the design and implementation of diverse learning solutions, including in-person and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning modules, webinars, self-directed pathways, and workshops.
  • Support the vendor selection, onboarding, and management process for third-party learning providers to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, maintaining clear, consistent communication with internal teams and external partners at various organizational levels.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive resolution.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development Centers of Excellence and business partners to craft delivery strategies, change management plans, and communication initiatives.
  • Maintain rigorous governance by actively managing risks and issues, conducting retrospectives, and applying lessons learned for project improvement.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends in project management methodologies, including Agile and hybrid models, integrating best practices into delivery.
  • Participate actively in the broader project management community to share expertise and foster professional growth.

Desired Skill-Set:

  • 5+ years in project management within the financial, banking, or insurance industry.
  • Proven experience managing medium to high complexity projects in Learning & Development.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects using Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in program management or leading large-scale training initiatives.
  • Background working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.
  • Exposure to hybrid or advanced project delivery frameworks.
