Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Non-IT Project Manager – Credit Cards. This position involves leading credit card projects from planning through deployment within a banking environment, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Guide project sponsors on implementation and sustainment strategies for credit card initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop and socialize change management plans to facilitate adoption and realize project benefits.
- Execute projects within governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory, and security standards.
- Create and maintain all project management artifacts in accordance with enterprise standards.
- Monitor project progress, make adjustments, and report on performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing recommendations on business case viability, including costs, benefits, and KPIs.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and trust.
- Lead project meetings, governance forums, and cross-departmental collaborations.
- Ensure adherence to all risk, regulatory, and compliance controls.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the business/group and influence key decision-making.
- Develop strategic plans and identify emerging trends to inform business priorities.
- Conduct data analysis, generate reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee complex projects involving multiple business units and diverse stakeholders.
- Manage contracts and negotiate with external vendors to secure necessary resources.
- Direct project teams of up to 50 members, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Take ownership of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all artifacts and outcomes are achieved.
Desired Skill-Set:
- Over 7 years of relevant project management experience in banking or financial services.
- Valid PMP certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of credit card products and banking industry processes.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Profound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and manage cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in monitoring project performance metrics.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience managing credit card initiatives specifically.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Clarity or similar platforms.
- Advanced stakeholder influence and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience working in hybrid or remote team environments.
