Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Non – IT Project Manager – Expert, responsible for overseeing critical projects related to cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and operational governance in a financial services setting. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure project success through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of comprehensive projects spanning infrastructure, compliance, and operational initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, milestones, resource allocations, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Manage project timelines, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues proactively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and escalate issues as necessary.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including risk registers, status reports, and lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement practices within project teams, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
Desired Skill-Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of project management experience in complex or enterprise environments.
- Proven success managing cross-functional projects involving infrastructure, cloud initiatives, or operational improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
- Experience with project management tools such as Clarity PPM or similar platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks within financial services or similar regulated industries.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading projects in legacy system modernization or cloud transformation.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and hybrid environment management.
- Exposure to financial regulations and control standards typically applicable to financial institutions.
