Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Solutions Architect – Treasury Payments. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-visibility projects, gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including AI and Cloud, and collaborate within a dynamic team environment focused on innovative treasury payment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical solutions within the Treasury Payments Services line of business
- Create a conceptual solution to assist in project scoping and decision-making
- Document complete solution artifacts throughout project phases, ensuring alignment with the Technology Roadmap and Enterprise Strategy
- Obtain governance approvals by adhering to established processes
- Act as the key technical contact, collaborating with peers across technology groups, Information Security, and Enterprise Architecture
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within Banking & Financial Domains in large corporate environments
- Proven ability to document complex solutions spanning multiple systems and interfaces
- Experience presenting and defending architecture solutions in governance forums
- Proficiency with architecture modeling languages and tools such as ArchiMate, UML, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint
- Functional knowledge supporting requirements and issue analysis in the following areas:
- Online Banking
- Mobile Banking
- Payment Systems (ACH, EFT, Email Money Transfer, Real-Time Payments)
- Payment Gateways (API or File-based)
- Treasury Products (e.g., Lockbox)
- Technical expertise in:
- Systems Integration
- OAuth2.0 / OpenID Connect Authentication frameworks
- SAML2.0 integration with third-party web applications from portals
- API Security Design and industry-standardization (ISO 20022, FDX, etc.)
- Web services (SOAP, REST)
- File-based data transfers
- API Gateway capabilities such as IBM API Connect, AWS API Gateway
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI solutions in the banking or financial industry
- Certifications such as Certified AWS Solution Architect with hands-on deployment experience in AWS
