Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Tech Support Specialist- MFA and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical enterprise security initiatives while developing your technical and communication skills. This position involves providing remote technical support, managing multi-factor authentication setups, and assisting users with system issues related to applications, servers, and network hardware. The role is ideal for professionals with a solid technical background and a strong customer service orientation seeking a long-term contract in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users via conference bridges, remote desktop access, and other communication tools.
- Assist users with application issues, server connections, and hardware-related problems.
- Support and troubleshoot multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems to ensure secure access.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve complex technical inquiries efficiently.
- Document support activities, solutions, and technical issues accurately for ongoing reference.
- Adapt to shifting schedules, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, based on business needs.
- Follow security protocols and best practices to protect organizational information and systems.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2+ years of technical support experience, working directly with end-users.
- Strong understanding of applications, server hardware, networking basics, and security protocols.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technical skills related to cybersecurity and system support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including day, evening, and weekends.
- Experience supporting multi-factor authentication systems is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
- Networking knowledge beyond basic understanding.
- Hands-on experience with multi-factor authentication implementations and management.
- Familiarity with enterprise security protocols and tools.
