Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technology Recruiter who will recruit individuals for junior-level entry roles all the way to executives – a full range of skillsets. The individual will be working on senior management roles, thus, they will be required to bring market knowledge to the table. The ideal candidate will work in an established institution and with multiple groups within the bank, which will allow them to build effective skills and confidence. The desired candidate will be exposed to other lines of business, as there are lots of opportunities for learning, growth, and development. 
The Technology Recruiter will be working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and friendly environment, interacting with other LOBs and recruitment associates. The candidate will be doing inbound and outbound activities to the source by working with the greatest technology tools to assist in the role, including the CRM database and LinkedIn Recruiter access. 

Responsibilities :

  • Source candidates for different lines of businesses
  • Sourcing within the T&O space
  • Run intake conversations with the hiring managers to understand the requirements of the roles
  • Ensuring the job description matches the requirements of the role
  • Post roles outside in the market
  • Run own searches to source and find ideal candidates
  • Schedule interviews for the hiring managers
  • Collect feedback from interviews, building out offers, and presenting offers to candidates
  • Meet benchmarks based on LOBs within the organization

Desired Skill Set:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role for T&O Recruiter
  • Able to source developers, cloud technology, and digital skillsets; full-stack individuals who can work on both sides, such as automation and AI (not always looking at one skillset)
  • Handle senior managers and directors
  • Understand financial services and how they operate (has worked in such areas/spaces and have that level of knowledge)
  • Understand how these functions support and interact with the LOBs
  • Superior client management skills, able to effectively & persuasively present information
  • Strong business acumen, with an ability to interpret business direction and realign/develop/recruiting strategies and refine tactics accordingly
  • Strong preference for individuals with experience in high volume recruitment specifically with a focus on financial services, technology recruitment 
  • Proven track record in a sales environment
  • Familiarity with CRM and ATS
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Able to present BMO and job offers in a compelling manner
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests at one time and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests
  • Communicate concisely via phone and email
