Are you a skilled developer with strong expertise in VBA, web technologies, and SQL who thrives in a fast-moving, Agile environment? This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance production tools used across Operations & Delivery, while collaborating with business partners and modernization teams to develop new process-improvement solutions.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a VBA Developer – HTML/CSS who will maintain existing operational tools and build new applications from the ground up. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, strong VBA and database skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, efficient tools that support critical operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing production tools used across Operations & Delivery.
  • Collaborate with business partners and delivery teams to design and develop new process-improvement tools.
  • Work within the PITT Crew—an Agile team of technical subject matter experts focused on modernization and operational excellence.
  • Participate in the ideation, development, deployment, and governance of new tools and workflows.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to deliver solutions quickly, efficiently, and beyond stakeholder expectations.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Strong hands-on development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including the ability to code, update, and build scripts from scratch.
  • Advanced proficiency in Visual Basic, MS Access, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to use built-in browser developer tools to analyze and understand web API methods.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with SQL databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capability.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
