Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Vendor Manager – TPRM/ Banking – Coupa/Archer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support vendor relationships, contracting activities, and process improvements within a dynamic investment services environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $43.48/hr – $56.52/hr
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor contracting lifecycle processes from initiation to completion and oversee third-party supplier portfolios (30+).
- Conduct quote meter audits with external market exchanges, managing audit requests and reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards, intake procedures, and third-party risk assessment processes.
- Maintain a centralized documentation library, including NDAs, RFIs, RFPs, onboarding documents, and invoices.
- Collaborate with procurement, governance, operations, and audit teams to uphold compliance standards for all vendors.
- Support pricing negotiations, vendor onboarding, and draft contracts and amendments with contract services teams.
- Complete market data documentation such as questionnaires, exhibits, schedules, and dealer forms.
- Coordinate and circulate draft contracts, securing necessary approvals from stakeholders.
- Prepare executive summaries to facilitate budget approvals.
- Achieve procurement best practices while maximizing vendor value.
- Manage external vendor relationships, facilitating communication across business units including risk, legal, product, and technology teams.
- Mediate and resolve issues (IMFs) and risks during the contracting lifecycle.
- Monitor vendor performance, tracking renewal dates and contract expirations.
- Contribute to vendor scorecards, contract trackers, financial planning, and forecasting.
- Support strategic vendor planning, analyze costs, identify savings opportunities, and recommend improvements.
- Suggest process efficiencies and internal synergies to optimize vendor management functions.
- Gather competitive intelligence related to industry trends, products, and services in the market data space.
Desired Skill-Set:
- 3+ years of experience in vendor management and contract lifecycle management.
- Supportive experience in procurement and third-party/vendor governance activities.
- Familiarity with Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) processes.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Project management proficiency, with experience in JIRA, Kanban, Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TPRA platforms like Archer, Coupa Risk Assess, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and workflows.
- Prior background in online brokerage or financial institutions.
- Experience working with market data vendors and industry research providers.
